30 for 30: Recycled

Today's outfit is a complete copycat of an outfit I had worn already, minus the top. So uncreative, I know. Off to spend quality time with the boyfriend now... and his laptop... and his NBA games. Sigh. At least I have 90210 and Gossip Girl :) Happy Valentine's Day!
coat: Express
top: LOFT
sashes: Anthropologie, J.Crew
tights: Forever 21
bag: Chanel

  4. The camel and red really like it! I spy the beautiful Express coat, I like how the ruffles compliment the horizontal pleating. =0D Do I also spy your Chanel bag? Siiiggh, I shall own one, some day!

  6. This is a perfect outfit for V-day. For some reasons, I totally forgot about this top. I would wear it to work today if I remember. Oh well, maybe tomorrow. Happy Valentine's Day to you and your bf, Cee.

  8. Happy V Day Cee! Recycling is good for mother earth and the wallet! I love GG too, and I kinda like the idea of Dan and Blair. I used to be a CHAIR/Chuck Blair fan, but he seems to have moved on with his hotel chicky.

  9. Happy Valentine's Day! I love the color combos of this outfit. I like how you put things together that I would never consider combining and make it look amazing. Again, love that you wear flats and look good. I guess it doesn't hurt to be taller. Lucky!

  11. Have I told you lately that I love that coat? Well, I do. Now if you can help me figure out how to work a pair of similarly colored tights into my wardrobe, I'd be delighted. I bought several pairs of colored opaque tights (dark pink/whatever it is you are wearing, although mine seem bright; dark teal which I accidentally put a hole into then a run, thus they can only be worn with knee length skirts or longer,red/black/white plaid, and then bright turquoise). I'm at a loss on the colored tights. Whenever I try them I think they make me look silly.

  12. Your outfits never get old for me and even if there are a lot of overlap within a week I don't notice it! I love what you did here and wish I can wear flats without feeling stubby. :)

  15. It seems that you love this Loft top a lot...it gets recycled often...and I love that. Sometimes you buy things and you end up not getting a lot of wears out of it...I just hate when that happens

  16. @kileen - We did! Watching the CW and pigging out on ice cream is always a good night in my book :)

    @Madeline Weber - So true! I need start using that :)

    @Simply Bubblelicious, @Stylepint, @JenlovesBal, @Tara, @cryskay, @Victoria - Thank you!

    @Banhannas - Yep, you're 2-for-2! Have you thought about buying a preowned Chanel? Jean has had success.

    @PetiteLittleGirl - Ahh... there's always next year... or 4th of July... or Christmas!

    @Lisa - I'll forever be a Chuck + Blair fan at heart. There's just so much chemistry between the two! Not sure how I feel about Dan and Blair yet. She just seems too type-A for him.

    @Petite Mom - My feet treat flats better than heels. Or rather, they don't know how to handle heels, haha. Definitely give them a try if you haven't yet. With the right outfit, you won't feel short in them :)

    @littlenashua - Darn, I wish I had known you were looking for this coat sooner. It might have sold out by now though.

    For the tights, stand tall and wear them with confidence (that's what I keep telling myself). I remember the first time I wore bright blue tights outside, I felt like every pair of eyes was on me, and not in a good way. They were just so BRIGHT. After awhile, I got used to it and just stopped noticing.

    @Elle - Stand tall and watch your posture? I have to constantly remind myself of that. I slouch way too much. But I do understand wearing skirts with heels though cuz they do make your legs look better. Maybe that's why I'm almost always in pants?

    @Fashion Fabrice - Hehe, my bf half watches GG, only cuz our apartment is small and he has nowhere else to hide.

    @katou - I lovvee layering. Glad you're a fan too!

    @Jarucha - It doesn't help the color is so bright, right? :) I feel like I wear it way too much, but there's still so many ways I want to wear it!

  18. GREAT WAY TO SPEND VDAY! hey at least you're with the boyfriend. how did you like that week's 90210 and GG? i'm finding that GG's getting slightly better than last season. Last season i Liked 90210 more which is a shocker. haha.

    PS. this top is really pretty on you!
