This has been my go-to weekend outfit for the last 8 consecutive weeks (no lie, DH can attest to this). It's perfect for all the times we go out to eat at restaurants where the grease just embeds into your pores. I'm looking at you, Vietnamese pho (edit: phodor!), Chinese beef stew, Korean soondubu -- all of which I love too much to give up, so instead fashion is sacrificed in the process. I used to wear a holey sweatshirt (literally multiple holes at almost every seam) and baggy jeans, so this sportier outfit is a slight upgrade. It's so easy to just toss every item into the wash and not have to think about dry cleaning.

I'm back! Fortunately not jet-lagged, but unfortunately very travel-weary (spent too much time at airports the past week). Apparently we missed out on heavy snowfalls while away and came back home to early signs of spring -- temps in the 50-60s?! Hmm... an annual Feb. vacation may not be a bad idea.

Today's outfit photos were taken prior to my trip. They're also the last in my queue, so bear with me as I get settled into normal life routine again -- wearing anything other than sweats is currently not high on my priority list ;)

I'll be the first to say that I'm an adidas fan, so that makes me anti-Nike hehe. But with most things, it's too hard to not like anything they release. This pair of Nike Musique dance shoes are from a few seasons ago and may have been their first version (I believe they're actually up to version IV now). Technically they're supposed to be dance shoes, but I'm not a dancer, so I use them for everyday shoes when I want to dress down. Perfect colors, perfect style!
