30 for 30: Here we go
Tuesday, February 01, 2011I can't be the only one who finds Bud Light's "here we go" commercials annoying. But today, it seemed appropriate to say. So here we go with the start of 30 for 30, (mostly) daily-blogging, and a shopping ban!
blazer: Express (this season's version sold here)
scarf: eBay (seller's store; ASOS is selling one that looks identical to me)
tee: H&M (currently sold in stores)
pants: LOFT
bag: Chanel
wedges: Nine West (non-outlet version sold here)

ReplyDeleteLove this... so classic and elegant. I especially love the scarf you added. It elevates the outfit with a bit of timeless French chic.
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is so glamorous and classic and pulls the whole look together - aka making it a perfect 30x30 accessory.

ReplyDeleteI'm exciting to see your other outfits! :)
The scarf makes a wonderful addition to your outfit! It's a great start for your 30 for 30! =)
ReplyDeletethe scarf? perfection. and i'm all agog about your suede wedges. (okay, i don't really know what "agog" means, but if it's something like "absolutely utterly and completely in LOVE with" then i think we're on the right track...) this ensemble is absolutely fabulous.

Fabulous!!! What a way to kick it off! And your eBay scarf looks verrrrrrrrrrrry expensive - like a silk Hermès scarf.
ReplyDeleteCee this outfit is amazing! Great job! Looking forward to your challenge outfits :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with others, the scarf is a fantastic touch! Good luck with the rest of 30 for 30, it looks like you're off to a great start.
ReplyDeleteLove your first outfit! I love the scarf and how it complements the rest of the outfit perfectly!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed this outfit. Everything just looks effortless.
ReplyDelete<3 it!!
ReplyDeletebeen looking for a scarf w/every exact detail like this one. Do you know if the seller on ebay still has more?
ReplyDelete@Curvy Petite, @Michelle, @En Bouton, @Elle, @Mama Marshmallow, @KohLepe - Thank you!
ReplyDelete@SewPetiteGal, @JenlovesBal, @curls-and-pearls - Oh no, don't get your hopes up. I'm sure there will be many days where I'm feeling uninspired, so expect lots of duds too :)
@overcaffeinated - This scarf is fast becoming one of my favorite pieces!
@Kristen, @Stylepint - Could not agree more :)
@lisa - Hi semi-Chanel twin :) I'll be sure to stop by your giveaway soon.
@Brittney - Hehe, you're so funny. Agog was used entirely appropriately :)
@Lisa - I think the scarf photographs much more nicely in pictures than it does look in real life. It's a Hermes-wannabe for sure ;)
@AubreyOhDang! - A ha! I found the eBay seller's store. I'm pretty sure once they're back on holiday, they'll have many more of the same scarf I have (Satin Silk Square Scarf Shawl 35"X35" Black Fashion #13). When I bought it, they were taking best offers and I think I bought it for $8.50. It's made fairly decently, a couple snags here and there, but for the price I'm not complaining. Let me know if we up being scarf twins :)
Oooo what brand scarf is that?? So cute, love how you didn't tie it and just layed it- classic:)
ReplyDeletethis is such a classy look. this 30 for 30 idea is getting more interesting.
ReplyDelete@Really Petite - They're no name! Check out what I wrote for Aubrey above for more detail :)
ReplyDelete@ak - I know, right? There were over 800+ participants this time around. Amazing!
i LOVE the scarf, and this outfit is awesome!
