Day 24/30: Belts and Loops

Wednesday, July 06, 2011

Belt loops are something I don't normally give a lot of thought to. Most of my bottoms are pretty fitted, so any use of belts are for decorative purposes only. That is, except for this skirt. And as luck would have it, it came sans belt loops. I love the print, so dealing with the belt slippin' and slidin' is just a minor inconvenience I'm willing to put up with. Are belt loops a must for you?

  5. How cute do you look Cee?!! I usually prefer for my skirts to not have belt loops. I like the way you've added the belt here though, very nice!

  6. I prefer bottoms that have belt loops but some belts are too big anyways, so I guess you just have to make do :)

  10. Just like you, I don't typically care about belt loops on skirts. It's so fun to see your full shot, Cee :)

  11. Can I just tell you again that I'm loving the whole body shots?! I like belt loops when the belt is supposed to sit somewhere odd - like empire waists (otherwise it just slides down to my actual waist). You can make your own! My mom just showed me how to make those delicate string twisted ones :)

  15. dresses I guess I dont mind not having belt loops, but for skirts it would be a bit easier.

  16. Eeeeks Cee you are gorgeous!! Love seeing all of you hahahaha! Nope belt loops aren't a must for me - in fact sometimes they are a nusance b/c I like to wear belts that are wider than the loops (the belt won't fit in them) but when I put the belt on you can see the loops underneath - hate that!

  17. You are adorable!! And that skirt is such a cute summery skirt! I can take or leave belt loops. Like you said, belts for me are usually to add something cute to the outfit, not to keep the skirt from falling off. Ha! I wish I had that problem with my clothes. lol But alas, they seem to be getting tighter instead of looser!

  18. Loving the bright pink - even with the bright colors this outfit is so chic!
