Day 19/30: The Outdoors

I learned my lesson in choosing the wrong background while jumping unnecessarily in certain outfits. Today's casual and inspired by Madewell outfit suits the woodsy setting, don't you think? So, an action shot of me goofing off and frolicking amongst the trees. Sorry, no blooper reel today!

top: Gap (similar)
belt: H&M (may still be sold in stores)

  1. Cee, I love today's look AND inspiration photo (inspiring me as we speak!) That dress has been so useful for you. Hmmm...there's a similar one at LOFT right now which I've been eyeballing...

  2. Love the layers in this outfit. The dress has definitely turned itself into a great staple. I can't count how many ways you've worn it differently and it still looks like a different item every time!

  14. @Erin @ MomsHaveStyle2 - The LOFT one is really cute and on sale this weekend :) Boat-neck style right?

    @hurricanekerrie - I couldn't agree more... the dress is fast becoming a favorite in my closet :)

    @kimchi girl - Thanks, but it's really J.Crew who is the inspiration ;)

    @Elaine A (TOBeautyReviews) - Haha, sorry for the dress enabling! These looks can be recreated with your skirt too :)

    @The Little Dust Princess, @Lilly's Style, @Vicky, @kileen, @caroline, @Julie, @eek - Thank you!

    @Laceface - I didn't really "discover" lace until recently, and boy, have I been missing out!

    @Tara - If I had access to the rest of my closet, I would've taken the easy way out and chosen my plain white skirt :P

  17. I came so, so close to buying a white lace skirt at the Banana outlet this weekend, but it was just too form fitting, even a size up. I was beyond disappointed because I'd had multiple outfits planned out in my head based on that skirt and your use of this dress.

    I hate when that happens!
