Tree-Lined
Thursday, August 11, 2011I took these pictures on an open road. It's one-way and relatively deserted, so I figured once I hear cars coming, there should be plenty of time to freeze, give the driver a deer-caught-in-the-headlights look, grab tripod, and run for safety. So much for putting trust in my hearing because I kept turning my head towards the direction of in-coming traffic. As a result, half the pictures in this batch didn't turn out right. Note to self: face the traffic flow next time, even if the lighting isn't ideal.

You're adorable! I love those pictures. So much time and effort we put into each post =)
ReplyDeleteYou're so brave! The photos turned out really well so it was worth it! :)
ReplyDeleteyou're brave. I would never use my tripod in public.
ReplyDeleteNice outfit, you looks so casual & comfortable and the necklace is a great touch to dressing it up. :) Also, the photos turned out well.

the first photo looks perfect! glad you got one good full picture out of the adventure. Do you have a friend with you in these shoots? I think I would have a dilemma with taking pictures in a deserted area (place with no people around scares me too, haha)
ReplyDeletebeautiful outfit! i love the white on white and the stripes break up the solid colors perfectly. and i've thought about putting my tripod in the middle of the road before too but ended up chickening out, lol. good job!
ReplyDeletecute & little

This is such a chic-comfortable look (that I would love to achieve). I love it because it looks so effortless, yet put together.

ReplyDeletei once did an engagement shoot with s couple on this super cool bridge in LA...there wasn't much traffic on it for the most part while we were shooting on it, but we tried to do pics in the middle of the road and we would shoot a couple of shots and RUN every time we thought a car was approaching. haha.
i love that white on white!

One thing that you wear with every outfit and something that I consider to be an accessory that not too many people can pull off:
ReplyDeleteEffortlessness!
cute outfit, soooo summery! And I love the open road background...love all the places you take us to in your outfit photos. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm from MD, more or less on the DC border. I attend the University of Maryland (finally a senior) and hang around DC rather frequently.
ReplyDeleteI love the effortlessness in your look. The pants and the tee are a perfect slouchy fit that screams casual chic while the Chanel flap pulls the whole look together into a sophisticated outfit. Love this!
LOL you are hilarious Cee! I love these pics! I wish there was a road/area that had no people or cars but it's like crazy busy where I live. I love this background you found!!!! And the outfit is darling!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone!
ReplyDelete@Olyvia - Nope, I was alone when I took these pictures. I didn't even think about that being creepy at the time, but now that you mention it, I really should be more careful. Thank you for reminding me :)
@kileen - Really!? You are the bravest public picture-taking person I know! A semi-deserted road helps a lot though, so I hope you'll be able to find one around you and give it a shot!
@caroline - Those type of engagement shots are so cool. Especially with a fancy camera and the background is blurred. I think if bf and I ever decide to do an engagement shoot, I'd definitely request that :)
@Anna - Ahh, we're rivals ;) I went to UVA but my dad is a UMD graduate. We have a semi-rivalry going on... especially during basketball season. But it hasn't really been much of a contest the last few years, lol.
Love this outfit Cee.....Totally!!
ReplyDeleteThe navy strips and you go well together! Exceptional dressings!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely brave but I think the background is just so pretty! You already know I love stripes - it looks perfect with the white trousers - a nice, fresh look :)
ReplyDeleteomg you are soo brave cee! here I am still kinda scared to take pix of myself in back of my house..and here you are taking pix on the road!
ReplyDeleteI love the AS necklace, giving that pop of color into the white outfit!
Lady, you are crazy brave for taking pictures in the middle of the road :)
ReplyDeleteLove the white on white here!
I'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
