Casual
Friday, September 09, 2011Hello weekend! I'm exhausted after a short week (mother nature wreaked havoc with my schedule). Now I can unwind and look forward to 1) hitting up TJ Maxx (thank you Cher for sharing!) 2) lots of tennis (vamos!) 3) footballlll ('Skins?! More like the Patriots) 4) SLEEP (hours and hours of it).
I hope you have a great weekend!

Very casual and nice, Cee! Thanks for sharing Cher's tweet. I was so busy this week that I didn't really check twitter that much, and probably missed tons of good deals. I'm glad I caught this one. There is a TJMaxx grand opening near my house this weekend and I'll check on if they have a Runway. I hope they do.
ReplyDeleteHA! Did you find anything at TJ Maxx? I was tempted to go there again to see if they got another shipment today. Probably a good thing I didn't because I saw quite a few pairs of booties that I wanted there yesterday--Gucci, Cole Haan--not that I could even afford the Gucci ones still.
ReplyDeleteLike the outfit (I'm still on the hunt for some nude pumps!), though I'm not particularly crazy about the double fold of the jeans. I prefer a single wide fold or pegged.
Thanks for featuring a casual outfit! I love elegantly cuffing my jeans at the ankle, too, although I wish I could pull off heels with casual attire.
ReplyDeleteI love your simple but classic outfit. And I am in dire need of some round toe nude pumps!
ReplyDeleteI love this look. So chic but simple. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your necklace!
ReplyDeleteyou seriously have the greatest style!! I love how effortless and classy you manage to look while also being on trend and interesting!! thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteLove the necklace!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my new blog www.kejiguide.com
I like how you cuffed up the jeans- so cute :D
ReplyDelete@Vicky - I'm glad your TJ Maxx had some good stuff (saw your tweets). Unfortunately mine was a bust :(
ReplyDelete@Cher - Haha, yes go back! I did make it out to the one in Tysons today. The Alexandria one was too far away. Came away with nothing though. From what I read in Yelp, Alexandria >>> Tysons. If you do end up going back, please let me know if the Alexandria one has a new shipment. It's closer to my work so it's easier to get to.
Thanks for the feedback on the jeans. I had to google what pegged meant, lol. Neither crossed my mind so I'll have to give those a whirl next time!
@ShortBlonde - I'm wearing wedges with these jeans. I think they're more casual and easier to pull off than pumps. But I've also seen many others wearing cuffed jeans + pumps and look great. As long as you're comfortable, I'm sure you can pull them off :)
@eek - Have you tried Target's Mossimo Pearce Pumps in camel? It's a fav among a lot of other bloggers. Great price for the quality.
@Kelly, @TaraMixandMatch, @Keji, @Really Petite - Thank you!
@Anne - You're too kind :) Thank you for taking the time to read and leave a comment!
Oh I love the peep of sequins!!! I'm all about the details ;) Have a great rest of the weekend!
ReplyDeleteShew, the short week really threw me off too! Sounds like you had a super exciting weekend planned. I love TJ Maxx & I definitely love sleep!!!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so simple but chic! Love it.
ReplyDeleteHave I mentioned that I don't think we can be friends, what with your love of the Patriots? I just can't do it! :)
ReplyDelete@Tara - Lol, what about friends except the weeks the Colts play the Pats? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
