Bloomed
Sunday, September 18, 2011Paths through the woods are one of my favorite places to take pictures. It's usually pretty secluded with only a slim chance of crossing paths with pedestrians or bikers. On this particular day, I found myself not too far away from a lady singing opera music. What a voice! The way it carried and resonated through the woods was a treat. Usually I'm the model of efficiency when it comes to taking outfit pictures, but not today. And I've got the bug bites to prove it :)

It looks so nice and peaceful, plus the nature makes a good picture background.
ReplyDeleteLove the pink/white/black combo in this outfit. You're looking great as always.
That mustve been kind of amazing to hear opera in that environment! Love the blazer....

i wish there was a good park around here to take pics (perhaps there is and i dont know about it...). love the soft looking fabrics in your outfit, you look so comfy!
ReplyDeleteLooks very serene :) Nice outfit!
ReplyDeleteThere is a park near where I live and I love going through the woods for blog photos =) I got scared at first but now I really enjoy taking pictures when no one is around. Adorable outfit as always, Cee!
ReplyDeleteBug bites are the unfortunate consequence of a lovely wooded setting...I think mosquitoes seek me out lol because I always end up with the biggest bug bites ever! This flower pin is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great background!!! And omg I am allergic to bug bites! They swell up so big on me....the things we bloggers do! You look great Cee :)
ReplyDeleteOuu I love the colours in this outfit! Bug bites are the worst... and having them on your elbow is probably one of the worst spots ever! It's so hard to scratch that area!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Cee. :) Anything good always comes with a price. It's all worth it, right? Lovely pink and white, and black. You remind me that I still need a boyfriend blazer. hehe.
ReplyDeletePretty combination. I really adore those flats --normally I'm not a flats girl (since I'm short) but you pull them off so well!
ReplyDeleteahhh, the bug bites. I completely empathize. I went out for a run last week and came back with like a dozen dime sized bites (which later swell up to the size of a quarter).
ReplyDeleteThe background is gorgeous though and your outfit never ceases to impress me. So I want to say it's worth it. ;)
omg i can see your pics again!
ReplyDeleteWow, I imagine that was just kind of an awesome moment...I want to be in the woods with someone singing opera :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you spiced up the blazer a little with the flower pin. Perfect!
@Mimi - I agree... makes me want to go visit that park more often :)
ReplyDelete@easy petite looks - Have you tried Google Map's satellite feature? I get excited when I see a dense area of trees, lol. Me = nerd.
@TaraMixandMatch - How unfortunate that of all things to be attracted to... we're attracted to bugs, lol.
@Really Petite - Sorry to hear that Annie :( A friend of mine is allergic to bee stings and has to always carry around an epipen with him... so scary.
@The Little Dust Princess - Haha, I have to say I hate getting them on my foot. It makes walking quite difficult.
@Vicky - Try H&M! The one I have on should still be in stores. Plus it's from the Divided line, so it may work for ya :)
@JC - Flats are my first love, but I'm slowly branching out into heels. It's definitely been quite an experience!
@Elle - Ouch! Not that I'm even close to thinking of taking up running (even though I should), but what a great reason not to :D
@AubreyOhDang! - Haha, I didn't do anything on my end, so it must be all Blogger.
@Tara - I bet the singing was what brought the bugs out too as well. Who can resist, right?! ;)
I'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
