Another scarf post
Tuesday, January 18, 2011I wanted to wear a scarf as a wrap, but couldn't quite pull it off, so I layered it underneath a cardigan instead. Not too bad, you say? It's because you can't see the bunching from the back :D And I hope nobody was walking behind me and staring at the bulge, lol. I tucked the loose ends in as best I could, but if the scarf was just a bit shorter, then I would've had the perfect amount of fabric. Nevertheless, I found it pretty cool to try something new.
necklace: J.Crew

Adorable! And kudos on being so creative!! Did you see this done somewhere or where did the inspiration come from?
ReplyDeletelol, I was just gonna stop by your blog and saw that you just stopped by mine :) And Cee, you're so dang creative with the scarves. You probably know how to wear a scarf 1001 different ways :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I like your casual look and *GASP* I am drooling over that necklace.
On a side note, I'm not sure if you ever go back and read comments after you've left one so I thought I'd post my response to your comment here Re-blog names on *cough* my blog name being confused w. a high priced call gal. Anyways, my question to your response is - what inspired your blog name?
Just wanted to u to know that it lives up to it's name :)
Love the look! You're going to have to record a tutorial for this too :) Great flats!
ReplyDeleteYou are so creative...looking great as usual. Those flats are super cute and I drool each time I see that bag :)
ReplyDeleteYes another tutorial for this one! I love this look, great way to layer for the frigid office :)
ReplyDeleteOMG I never would have guessed that was a scarf. Looks so cute like that! And I love your bag. I don't really want to post a picture of mine because frankly, I'm not too sure if it's real or not. My mom got it second-hand, so it's questionable. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you should totally do the 30 for 30! I was debating back and forth, but decided to just go for it. You should too!! :)
Hey Cee! This has to be one of my fave casual outfits you've styled. Very classy and chic. The way you wore the scarf is really clever. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your blog, its very nice... why don't we follow each other? Thanks, kisses.
ReplyDelete@vanespp
you are soo great at layering! genius! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it- but then again- I love all ur creations!!
ReplyDeleteYou're very creative, Cee. I have to try it myself. It probably will take me several times to accomplish this look :)
ReplyDelete@Vicky, @Lilly, @JenlovesBal, @Agora tô pronta, @Leena, @ReallyPetite - Thanks :)
ReplyDelete@Callandra - I remember seeing this one blogger (whose name I can't remember now) wearing this gorgeous plaid wrap like a poncho. I couldn't get it to look right on me so I improvised.
@Lisa - If I could wear scarves everyday in different ways I would, haha. I do go back to reread comment responses, but usually days late (need more than 24 hrs in a day!), but feel free to do what's easiest for you :) As for the origins of my blog name... I didn't intend for the blog to be about my outfits, more like random things that makes me happy, which I'll admit are usually materialistic things :P But it's evolved and I see nothing wrong with keeping the name even though it has nothing to do with fashion, lol. Question back atcha, should I have responded here or back at your blog?
@SewPetiteGal, @curls-and-pearls - Hehe, this one took me awhile in the morning. I'm not sure if I can recreate it...
@kimmie - Completely understandable. As long as you love it, that's what matters!
@PetiteLittleGirl - It took me a couple tries too. Not sure if I'll do this again in the mornings. I value my sleep much more ;)
Your Miu Miu flats KILL me - they are so pretty! I am a sucker for a good bow shoe!
ReplyDeleteLove love love love love your outfit!!! Especially your Miu Miu flats! This whole look is perfection, great blog!
