Scarf Bow
Wednesday, March 14, 2012Today's outfit is inspired by a couple pinned images (1, 2) and created using Monique @ petite avenue's ever-so-helpful tutorial. The result? A little whimsy with my go-to color palette of choice, pink and blue.
Note to self: try with a longer scarf next time.

How cute. I love the way you tied your scarf. Instruction post please?
ReplyDeleteMonique gave a better tutorial than what I could've came up with ;)
DeleteLove the soft spring colors, the pop of polka dots, and the jewelry! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute way to wear a scarf! Your pink polka dots scarf definitely adds a feminine touch to your tomboy look =)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh this is too cute. :) I almost got this scarf but ended up going with the smaller version instead. It looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the smaller dot scarf in future OOTD posts!
DeleteOh so cute! Gah I want to break out all my scarves now (I packed most of them up :( )
ReplyDeleteI love the polka dotted scarf...and I've never thought to bow-tie it before. Did it get annoying at all, in your face, or was it loose enough to not bother you?
ReplyDeleteIt was loose enough not to bother my neck. For part of the day I did pop my collar, so that also prevented any itchiness.
DeleteLOve that scarf. Such a pretty pink and dot!
ReplyDeleteOo I really like how you wear that top, I dont think I would thought of wearing it outside of long sleeve!
ReplyDeleteLove your take on the sequined top and of course the polka dot scarf! How long would your ideal scarf be for this look?
ReplyDeleteThe polka dot scarf is a square, so next time I'm going to try the bow with a rectangular/long scarf. I just want the ends to hang longer than the bow (or close enough) I think.
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
