In Limbo
Wednesday, January 11, 2012Lately, the weather can't make up its mind, so neither can I. A thin jacket to go with a cowl scarf (thank you SPG for a wonderful post-holidays surprise!)? Sure, why the heck not. With all the spring collection items rolling in, warm weather can't come soon enough.
Hope you're having a great Wednesday!

ReplyDeletei agree, such strange weather. it was in the 50's today and tomorrow we get 8" of snow! yuck. you're looking very cute, but now like winter at all, lol!
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this look! So chic and casual! And yes this weather is actually annoying! Last week it was in the teens and tomorrow the 50's!

The weather here has been nice. Feels like it's spring here and not winter. The scarf look good with the outfit.
ReplyDeleteThat cowlneck scarf is gorgeous! And super cute poses/picture location!
ReplyDeleteThe weather here has been in the 60s! I just want it to act like winter already! :p
I like those color combination. I know weather here in these days are unstable every day. I tend to wear more just in case for cold weather. I have to encourage myself to wear something like spring!
ReplyDeleteI need one of those olive-y anoraks, they seem so versatile!
ReplyDeleteGood to layer when the weather is in limbo. Love the jacket and the scarf.

It does feel like spring for the past few days here too. The scarf looks so comfy and cozy on you.
ReplyDeleteAw, I'm glad you like it! I like your new sitting poses and love today's casual cozy vibe :) I think the weather is going to cool down again so it'll be time to break out the heavy layers soon.
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan of this cozy comfy look. and I love the scarf that Sheila made you, it's so perfect!

The scarf looks warm and cozy. I love the perspective of these photos - is your camera on a tripod or the ground?
ReplyDeleteWeather has been so weird, it was really nice over 60 last week..I heard that DC got some flurries this week though. Were heading up to Richmond this weekend and hope it's nice and sunny out!
ReplyDeleteAnother chic and stylish outfit! Definitely loving this look and the pictures. The scarf looks great with that jacket.
ReplyDeleteWeather has been weird, big time. Makes it hard to dress sometimes.
Our weather in Chicago has been up and down too! This is the perfect outfit to layer, love it.

That green jacket is so perfectly casual and put together! I love this look. Definitely going to try to copy it sometime. :)

Love that scarf! It looks so effortless on you...I kept looking for one all winter, but every single one I tried on looked like it was trying to eat my head. I am now officially jealous of your scarf wearing abilities :)
ReplyDelete(Oh, wait...I've always been jealous of your scarf wearing abilities, haven't I?)
@eek - The camera's on a tripod. I can't prop it on any random surface anymore like with my point and shoot b/c of manual adjustments. Boo! The different perspective was a stroke of luck ;)
ReplyDelete@simplyvonne - Flurries? I wish! It was snowing like craaaazy earlier in the week! The type that is heavy and big, but at least it didn't really stick to the ground. Whew!
@Tara - Lol, but the more a scarf eats up your head, the warmer it is, right? ;)
I'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
