Business As Usual

Monday, August 20, 2012

Every once in awhile a meeting at work calls for dressier attire. I almost always turn to my one pair of dress slacks before changing up the top for different looks. For today, it's a plain black top accessorized with a colorful scarf. A tad boring, but it gets the job done.

Have a good week ahead!

  1. Love love your Chanel m/l flap. So beautiful. :)

Aside from that - love the simplicity esp for work attire. I always like to stay comfy at work but yet we have to dress up on occasions too.

I love those pants! What size and hem length are you wearing? Did you have to get them tailored?

    1. Hi Michelle! I'm wearing a size 0R in these Express pants, off the rack without any alterations. Please note that I bought mine many years ago and I think their sizing has now changed. I tried on 00R within the last year and those felt similar to my 0R. You're smaller than me so I hope that I'm wrong and 00 would fit you.

    2. Thanks Cee! I will definitely stop by Express next time I am at the mall to check these out. I love that they are machine washable!

And big bummer on the scarf...mine are not similar in shape enough to pull the look off. I just looked like a goof! :p

    3. I know, right?! Machine washable is my favorite part, too. Not to mention, the pants are uber comfortable.

What shape is your scarf? Mine's a square, so I just folded it in half to form a triangle and looped the ends around my neck.
