Copycat II
Thursday, August 09, 2012For today's look, I took inspiration from two of my daily reads, Pink Peonies and Atlantic-Pacific. I thought about wearing my lace dress over the oxford shirt because the lace's thicker material will do a better job at hiding random shirt bulges. But I ended up going with this ruffled dress mainly because the shirt's sleeves can only be rolled up so high, so that worked better with the dress' short sleeves. My curiosity's been piqued, so you bet I'll be trying this look again with the lace dress.

I like this a lot! I never would have thought to combine the two.

I regret missing out on that JC dress, what a pretty piece!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I didn't know you were looking for this dress! I've seen it pop back up on the Factory site every once in awhile. Will let you know next time!
Deleteoh i LOVE THIS.
ReplyDeleteYou have piped my curiosity. You did such a great job with this outfit that I can't wait to see who you combine other two.
ReplyDeleteSo cute...I love the combination of the collared shirt under the ruffly dress. I never think to try all of these different options that you seem to find...I'm jealous of your creativity :)
ReplyDelete(And also, maybe of your blogroll? I need to start following the creative people, I guess!!)
Nope, I can't take any credit for today's outfit. It all goes towards the two ladies on my blogroll :) As for other creativeness... they're more like experiments gone wrong... 80% of the time, lol.
DeleteSuper cute dress on you! :)

ReplyDeleteNot a fan of the outfit? That's okay; I certainly don't expect everyone to agree :) Thanks for your feedback!
