Leopard & Lace
Saturday, August 25, 2012I seem to always reach for this versatile lace dress to try new item pairings with. For today's look, I'm really liking the combination of feminine lace with a little bit of leopard. It feels like a lot of pattern all at once, so I kept the jewelry simple and to a minimum.
Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous! I love the lace dress with its vintage feel and I love how you paired it with vintage heels. They unexpectedly go well together!

Haha and the vintage-y colors (to my eyes). The theme is completely unintentional but I like it too!
Deletei love this, too! it does seem to go perfectly together

I'm a late bloomer to leopard prints too. I think in moderation they add a touch of sophistication... or at least that's what I'm trying to achieve ;)
DeleteLove the lace dress! Very pretty. :)

ReplyDeleteI like this new blog design Cee and your photos look a lot sharper, new camera I didnt know about? I always like this lace dress on you, so feminine and elegant.
ReplyDeleteYou've got such a good eye! I bought a new lens recently and this is the first time I'm playing with it. I wasn't sure if the images look sharper due to a better (I'm assuming) lens or the greater depth of field fools the eyes more easily. Either way, I'll take it!
DeleteThis is gorgeous, Cee. So sleek AND chic :) Are the heels comfy?
ReplyDeleteI'd say the heels are pretty comfortable. I went up half a size because the toe box felt too tight otherwise. There's padding at the balls of the feet which I really like. The soles are smooth and slippery so I need to roughen up the bottoms a bit.
DeleteHi Cee!! I Love this look. It's the perfect paring of lace and leopard. Two of my favorite things. I was just going to ask you about the comfort level of the shoes, but I see you answered my question right above. haha! I think I may need to get these babies. Shoe twinsies! Hehe. Hope you're doing fabulously!

Hey Sharon! Just to add a bit more on the leopard pumps... I can feel the shoes stretching out a bit after I've worn them some more. Now my heel slips out a bit, but I plan on adding shoe pads to the heel area to solve this issue. I wonder if I had stuck with my normal size, would the toebox stretch out over time with the heel still in tact. It's something to consider as you find your right. Good luck, shoe twin!Hey Sharon! Just to add a bit more to
