Americana
Sunday, August 05, 2012I've been watching Olympics coverage non-stop over the past week. And boy, do I have the bags under my eyes to show for it. So for today's outfit, here's a nod to Team USA. Red, white, and blue? Check. Stripes? Check. All I'm missing are some stars. Let's just pretend I've got that covered with the polka dotted necklace... from afar :)
sunglasses: Walmart aviator (similar)
lips: Maybelline Color Sensational Lipcolor in coral crush (sold here)
necklace: crewcuts Girls' pearl medley (sold here)
bracelets: gift from SewPetiteGal (custom order from her Etsy shop);
Madewell nautical knot (similar)
top: H&M tunic (similar)
belt: Express (this season's sold here)
shorts: American Eagle (this season's sold here)
bag: J.Crew Tillary tote (similar)
flats: J.Crew Viv stripe (sold here)

ReplyDeleteSorry, I should have responded earlier! But nbcolympics.com has all the live streams of events. Still have a few more days left to check it out ;)
DeleteWow that bag is BEAUTIFUL. I'm off to hunt for it now.
ReplyDeleteThe bag's from over the summer, so your best bet is probably eBay. Will keep my eyes out for you too!
DeleteThis bag is amazing, and so are you!

This is perfect! It's all "TEAM USA" without being too much. :)
ReplyDeleteLol, it's okay to say it... the outfit is close to that borderline of over-doing it. I don't think I have any other striped or red items left in my closet after piling everything on ;)
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
