No no no, do NOT cut all your hair off!!!! The way you describe your hair texture makes me think we have the same coarse not-really-wavy-not-really-straight frizzy hair, and I can tell you from first hand experience that short 'do will be a nightmare. I cut all mine off one summer to about 2 inches all around, and man, it was really difficult to manage and because of the texture, it just got super poofy instead of piecey like I had wanted. I spent so much time and money on products on my hair that year, and it looked terrible as I tried to grow it out. Couldn't put it in a ponytail or clip, so that meant I was forced to make sure my hair looked ok every morning. Short hair is super high maintenance and knowing you, it might not be the best fit. :) but if you REALLY want short hair you should go for it, I'm just warning you that you'll need to start sacrificing your sleep and spending a lot of time on it in the mornings
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or have we had this conversation before? hahaha I think we have and my memory's just bad. I want to say my hair is *slightly* more cooperative than yours because I've had it as short as just-below-the-shoulders before and it wasn't too ghastly to maintain. Though once again, that could be how I wanted to remember, lol. Thanks for the heads up though, Kimmie! I'll have to really grill my stylist before doing anything drastic like chopping everything off.
DeleteLol maybe we did? I do remember talking about hair texture but not sure if we discussed length? :)
DeleteOoh, a text-y post! Me likey :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I run out of topics to talk about too easily ;)
DeleteI would love to try the eye brow threading thing but not sure if i would be pleased with outcome. I guess i will have to give it a try to find out. Holy the miracle shampoo sure is quite expensive but i would certainly shell out $$ if it can transform my hair.
ReplyDeleteI do think an experienced threader can make a difference... but it's hard to gauge just by looking someone. Maybe you can watch them work on someone else and see if you like their work?
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
