I'll be MIA from blogging (may still be around the Interwebs) for the next couple of weeks... because I'll be traipsing around Asia (!) with DH and a few friends. Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong are on the itinerary. My last visit to Japan was much too short, so I'm beyond excited to have another chance to explore what is perhaps my favorite country in the entire world. Singapore and HK will be new destinations for me (would love food recs!), though I have high hopes for both as well. Who knows, maybe I'll come back with a better appreciation for Indian food and dim sum.

Most people would probably assume that I have Valentine's Day on my mind when I wore this outfit recently. It's funny because DH and I are probably the biggest Scrooges when it comes to celebrating holidays/special occasions. I can't remember the last time we exchanged gifts... not over Christmas, not on our anniversary, and not on Valentine's Day. I guess I just have a fondness for pink and red?

Please excuse the quality of today's photos. I thought I had taken decent pics, but the dark colors all sort of blended together when viewed on my monitor. I ended up brightening the photos a lot to differentiate the colors... and even then I'm not sure they're coming across clearly. I'm wearing a gray wool coat, dark purple long-sleeve tee with a black vest, gray pants, purple gloves, black purse, and rose gold metallic wedges.
