I'll be MIA from blogging (may still be around the Interwebs) for the next couple of weeks... because I'll be traipsing around Asia (!) with DH and a few friends. Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong are on the itinerary. My last visit to Japan was much too short, so I'm beyond excited to have another chance to explore what is perhaps my favorite country in the entire world. Singapore and HK will be new destinations for me (would love food recs!), though I have high hopes for both as well. Who knows, maybe I'll come back with a better appreciation for Indian food and dim sum.

  2. I love Tim Ho Wan in HK! Although I've yet to have bad dimsum in HK, you probably can't go wrong with any of them.

  3. Yes definitely Tim Ho Wan or Ding Tai Feng! Those are the best dim sum places

    Australia Dairy Company in Jordan has AMAZING egg pudding and a fantastic breakfast set

    Butao Ramen - all over, but I went to the one in Shatin has the most flavorful broth ever

    Kanizen - specializes in Japanese style crab preparations in Wanchai

    Wong Chi Kee - crab congee with tons of roe-y goodness

    Mi-Ne Sushi - has innovative sushi like Seared and Sea Salt varieties - get the scallop options!

    Hop Hing - in Kowloon Bay - amazing street food - get the crispy chicken, typhoon crab, or razor clams
