Soft Florals
Friday, September 07, 2012I had the pleasure of spending time with Elle this past weekend while she was in town. In between chatting and laughing like old friends, we shopped, ate, and ate some more. We did pretty well most of the afternoon, not buying anything until we stepped foot inside H&M... and that's when the enabling began. She convinced me to try on printed pants, to which I agreed only if she tried on a forest green blazer. Both of which are really just excuses to take photos.
We concluded the day with Korean food, with the first stop at Nak Won and then at Bon Chon. There's two Bon Chons in the area, but this is the first time I've ever been. It's good... though I still have to give the nod to Popeye's.
Have a good weekend!

Popeye's over Bon Chon?? LOL. I guess you didn't have any Soju!
ReplyDeleteOh is that what was missing? ;) Next time Cher, we'll have you show us how it's done.
DeleteLove your distressed jeans and blazer combo. I always want to try that but never comitt to it. Looks amazing on you!
ReplyDeleteAnd the best friends are the ones that enable IMO. :)

Love your new blog layout :) And, of course, love the outfit :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely day! Great new layout!!
ReplyDeleteSounds lovely. Great you have fun! Love your outfit - I am always a huge fun of floral print.
ReplyDeleteI love the floral + blazer and jeans for a dressed up casual look. Another great result from the mixing mastermind :)
ReplyDeleteYou rock the florals, Cee! for some reason, my florals always look so granny-ish. Got to learn more on what sort of floral prints to pick. Ooh, the H&M red blazer looks cute on you....that's so awesome you got to hang out with Elle of FFAFF :)
ReplyDeleteI did end up buying the red blazer the other day and was trying it on to get Elle's opinion. I do plan on wearing it soon!
DeleteIf you don't mind me asking, how tall are you? I was trying to get a hand on what size I should order for some of the products you wore here... I'm stuck in a place where the only way I can get my hands on some of these clothes are through online :(
ReplyDeleteHey J.K. - Nope, I don't mind. I'm about 5'5" (more stats here). If you need to know specific sizing for any item I'm wearing, feel free to ask. I know it's hard to gauge sizing online.
Deletesuper fun look! it sounds like you and elle had a great time - hope you have a fun weekend too! xox P

Hehe, it was very nice meeting you too Cee. I can't wait for next September to roll around so I can tag along when you go to six flags. I was thinking of writing a post about my trip to DC, but again was limited by what a bad blogger I am (lackluster phone pictures of the food), but don't be surprised if pictures of you in your new pants end up appearing on my blog. :D
ReplyDeletep.s. did you decide to keep the pants? Or is the looseness still bothering you?
Yes, we'll make it a point to take better photos next time. Shame on me because I even had my big camera on me!
DeleteI'm leaning towards returning the pants =/ The wrinkleness is bothering me more than the looseness (and this is coming from someone who doesn't iron much!)
I'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
