As Seasons Change
Sunday, September 23, 2012When the weather starts turning cooler, I think about the lives bears lead, and how great it would be if I too, can also go into hibernation and sleep my way through winter. But since I can't, the next best thing about living in a region with four distinct seasons is watching the leaves turn color in the fall. I must remember to come back to this tree-lined spot in a few weeks to capture the pretty autumn colors.

Oh! Excited to see pics of that same spot when the colors change!
ReplyDeleteThe cowl neck on that sweater is great! I am so glad those are more prevalent in stores than turtle necks. The latter is just too warm for Vegas.
Isn't it? I remember looking for turtlenecks last year and having trouble. But it looks like they're making a comeback. Hopefully cowl neck sweaters are here to stay as well!
DeleteGorgeous <3 You look amazing in those jeans!

I only own one cowl neck sweater, but now I'm considering buying more! Oh, and those jeans too! I love your style, Cee!!!
ReplyDeleteCee, how do the length and waist run on the jeans?? Thinking about ordering them during their next big promo. For reference, I'm 5'7 1/2 and wear a 0 in LOFT skirts...I haven't bought pants from there before, and I know their skirts seem to run at least a full size big.
ReplyDeleteI think LOFT jeans run pretty true to the measurements listed online. I usually take sz 24 waist in most brands' jeans and these LOFT ones are a 00 (24 equivalent). Petite lengths are too short on me, so my pair is a regular size. My inseam's about 30" and these are 1-2" too long on me. I'd think you should be able to fit into a 0R in their jeans, but may vary depending on the style. Hope that helps!
DeleteI like your gray craw-neck sweater and you added the touch of yellow! Something I want to and can try with my current wardrobe! Thanks for great idea as usual Cee!
ReplyDeleteLeaves started changing here too. Now apple season too! Cannot wait ciders!
Another apple cider lover here! More of a fan of the cold over the hot versions, but I haven't been able to find my favorite from Shoppers in a long time :(
DeleteI tell you every time..you have the best jeans...or you find the best jeans that fit...my jeans never look this good on me..
ReplyDeleteShopping for jeans is the worst =/ I still turn to the juniors sections even now. Don't give up though, your perfect pair is out there!
DeleteGreat look! I can't wait till it gets cooler here to start wearing my sweaters. :)

ReplyDeleteTarget has a very similar cowl neck sweater for only $23: http://www.target.com/p/mossimo-women-s-ultra-soft-cowl-neck-sweater-assorted-colors/-/A-14021763. Best of all, they come in 8 colors! I bought the grey and gold ones.
