A Whole Lot of Casual

Wednesday, March 21, 2012

A big thanks to everyone who shared their opinions to my Sperry dilemma. In the end, practicality won out and I chose to keep the linen/oat pair. The colors are neutral enough to be worn year-round and I won't be mistaken for a big kid (even though I act like one). If I ever decide to go for a second pair, you bet I'll be picking out something bright and colorful :)

  1. You will not regret owning these shoes. I will tell you that I found that there is more cushion in the adult version. I've had my pair for over 5 years and I've been wearing this brand for over 30 years. Love your blog.

    1. Thank you for sharing your experience, Mary! I'm a newbie and didn't pay much attention to the amount of cushion when I tried on the shoes. I'll be remembering that for the next time though :)

  2. You know what I love about you Cee? You can pull off so many looks. I would look so stupid in those shoes but you- so chic.

    1. Haha just wear with confidence! (Easier said than done?) There's been many times where people look at me funny (ie: a big flower pinned to my lapel) and I just give them a look back, lol.

  5. These are the kid's version, right? I ordered a kids size for my sister, and she claims that they're a little bit wider/clunkier than the adult version, so we ended up returning them. I really think they look the same, though! What do you think? Anyway, I'm loving the laidback feel of this look!

    1. Yup I'm wearing the kids' version. They really do look the same to my (possibly untrained) eyes! But I also didn't have the adult version with me for comparison, so I could be wrong. Did your sister try the kids' regular or wide version? She may find the regular version to be narrower.

  6. Those look really comfy! I do like the choice you made!

Loving your scarf! I think scarf weather is almost gone now in Vegas...this winter was so warm, I did not wear too many scarves or tights! Kind of sad that so many clothes went unused!
