Sunday, December 09, 2012Nothing says 'tis the season like tartan. I've been wearing this top quite often as of late, so here are two outfits that have been on repeat.

I have to get more tartan. Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love that top. The ruffles add a little something extra. Super cute.

Yep, those are the same reasons why I was drawn to the top, too!

Love the 2nd plaid shirt! Very pretty outfits :)
ReplyDeleteTartan is an asbolute must this season. I'm still looking for my Tartan shirt.

Have you tried J.Crew/J.Crew factory? They have a pretty good selection to choose from. Good luck!
DeleteLove second look. I might try tartan again... I haven't wore it for long time!
ReplyDeleteFor more tartan in the workspace during holiday season, I recommend the tartan blazer and the tartan skirts from JCrew and JCrew factory. The colors are pretty dark and subtle. I've got a lot of comments about the skirt when I wore it to work last week! :)
ReplyDeleteNow that's true holiday spirit! I imagine a tartan blazer would be harder to style, but it'd be such a unique piece. A skirt is probably what I'm more likely to try. Hmm, now that you've got the idea in my head, I'm going to take a look around :)
DeleteOh!! Love that top! What size are you wearing?
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing XS, but I think you'll need a XS P, Michelle. XS is loose and casual on me but may be too big on you.
Deletei def like both, with the skirt and jeans! the first one is great for office and sec for play! hope u have a great week Cee~
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have styled the shirt with the jeans!

Both of these looks are terrific. I am looking to add something tartan to my closet this winter...esp. black watch tartan. And you've made me want it more! :)
ReplyDeleteIs it sad that I knew immediately which black watch tartan you're referring to? Lol, been perusing the J.Crew catalog wayyyy too much. I too love the pattern/color scheme but couldn't bring myself to spend the $. Looking forward to living vicariously through you!
DeleteI love that plaid color combo! I've been looking for a Christmas plaid (predominantly red + green with some navy) and haven't found the "one" yet. J. Crew Factory had one with white mixed in which somehow diminishes the impact. Sorry, I'm rambling!
ReplyDeletelove this plaid.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
