V-Day

Wearing a little red and some pink for today's occasion. Or in our household, it'll be known as VaLINtine's Day. We'll be staying in tonight to watch Knicks vs. Raptors as bf is all caught up in the hoopla. This weekend though, I'll be dragging him out to see The Vow, muahaha. Channing Tatum in a chick flick?! Sold. A no-brainer, actually.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

  1. HAHAHA I feel sorry for your boyfriend. :) My husband would die before ever willingly going to see that movie with me and of course, I can't wait til Magic Mike comes out in the summer. :)

Hope you had a happy valentine's day!! :)

    1. Watching The Vow won't be too much of a hardship for my bf... I think. Rachel McAdams is one of his favorites. I'm not that cruel ;)

WTF! How did I not know about Magic Mike?! I had to google that, thinking it's a Disney movie for some reason. I don't think Channing needs to use his acting skills for the role given his past LOL.

  3. LOL - I thought I've heard every lin'ism by now but valintine's day (did you come up with that one all by yourself?) made me chuckle out loud. He really does a good job at bringing out the yellow pride in asian men, no? Anyways, hope you have a good night in and that date weekend will make up for it : )

    1. Sadly I'm not creative enough to take credit, haha. I read it in an article earlier in the day, wrote up this post, and then began seeing the pun everywhere!

  5. The JCrew Indian voile shirt looks like chambray, is it chambray though? I love the blueness of the shirt with the purple cardigan!

    1. I would say no to chambray. The fabric's thinner and feels more linen-like. It also wrinkles like crazy! Please ignore the sloppiness until I finally go shop around for a steamer, hopefully this weekend.

  7. LOL Too funny Cee - I never drag my husband to girly movies actually b/c he can't let me enjoy it - much rather see it with girlfriends :P

Although I'm from TO and haven't watched a basketball game in YEARS I saw the highlights this morning and even Toronto fans were behind Lin! He's a great story :)

    1. Hahaha is your husband a talker during movies? My bf is like that, so for movies like Twilight I gotta go with my gfs or he'd ruin it for me.

  9. Love the outfit.
My husband and I don't "celebrate" Valentine's Day - 'cause to us everyday is a day to love each other. Karen J

  10. How is the fit on the Talbot's cardigan? It reminds me of the Loft BF cardigan that I have in this color. I can't wait to see the Vow :)

    1. The cardigan fits me fine, with a casual slouchiness that I like. So I think it would be too big on you, Annie :( But that's ok since you already have a similar one from LOFT :)
