Taupe and Cognac
Saturday, November 05, 2011I didn't have longevity expectations for this pair of cognac boots. Season #2 is still young, but so far, so good *knocks on wood* Will you be walking around in cognac shoes this season?

Hah, the ON seems to have held up pretty well...looks as new as the first time I saw it. And I am looking for cognac boots right now...but I don't want to splurge on it right now since most are not warm enough for the frigid Northeast winters.
ReplyDeleteStill looking for a decent pair, but not really in a rush since I have so many pairs of shoes. : ) Love the pop of pink in this outfit!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute jacket!
ReplyDeleteThe boots match the belt so nicely!
Cognac would be a nice color to add to my boots collection!!
I love cognac boots...but I don't have my own, so I "borrow" them. lol. The ON boots definitely held up well...can't wait to see more in the future! =)
ReplyDeleteI've got a pair of cognac boots & I love them. They are VERY versatile!
ReplyDeleteI think every girl should have a pair of cognac boots, I seriously wear mine ALL the time!
ReplyDeleteHave I told you that you look great in HOT HOT pink ;)
these boots are really cute on you and I'm surprised to see that they're from ON! and i'm really loving that jacket on you!
ReplyDeletecute & little
I remember those ON boots from last year. They seem to go with everything and hold up quite well. Two thumbs up! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThose boots look awesome. I wish they were available in Canada!
ReplyDeleteI love when an item of clothing outlives my expectations...it doesn't happen nearly often enough :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving the Zara jackets you've had on here lately! This is one I may have to check out myself.
i looove this! you look great, and its perfect for fall:)

Cognac boots are the best thing ever!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried shoes from Old Navy for years- these are making me want to give them another shot. They are like fabulous Leoffler Randall at a fraction of the price.
ReplyDeleteYay for boots-wearing weather! I loved all the outfits you wore with these boots last winter and I'm glad to see them reappear :) All of your Zara pieces look so good on you - it makes me wish we had a store here so I could try some pieces on.
ReplyDelete@Jarucha - Hmm... that sure is a challenging dilemma. Aside from winter boots (thick padding, fur, etc) I don't know if there are any "normal" boots that will withstand frigid winters. Impatient me would buy any old pair and wear thick socks to keep me warm :) Good luck with your hunt!
ReplyDelete@Stylepint - Lucky duck! I have the smallest feet of anyone I know, so no sharing shoes :/
@KDot - Ahh geez, so sorry to hear ON Canada doesn't offer these boots. Have you tried Steve Madden Intyce? It looks really similar to these, but of course both are a dupe for the expensive original, Loeffler Randall Matildes :)
@Tara - Definitely do! Surprisingly I've gotten many wears out of this jacket already, both casual and dressier outfits.
@Noelani - If you do try these, let me know how you like them!
@SewPetiteGal - Zara online offers free shipping and free return shipping so you can try in the comforts of your own home! The TRF line runs smaller than the WOMAN's line. Off the top of my head I've seen Kileen and Jean say sz S from TRF fits them nicely.
you look all cozied up for fall :) i have a few pairs of boots but haven't found the *perfec* pair yet.
ReplyDeleteI've had those same ON boots for 3 or 4 years now...and they are still going strong!
ReplyDeleteI love these shoes.this blog is really amazing and provide me answers to all my questions. This is really informative and I will for sure refer my friends the same. Thanks......
ReplyDeleteregards,
Rothco

ReplyDeletei have those same boots from old navy and love them! i think i have worn them at least once a week since the temps started dipping down where i live!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
