Soooo copying this tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteHI-- I've been looking for a sweater like the GAP one you are wearing and that's the only one I have found that I really like. However, the reviews on the GAP website complain of piling and I have had that problem in the past with GAP sweaters. Have you had this problem with this sweater?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hey, I just looked over my Gap sweaters and surprisingly enough, I didn't see any visible pilling. I read the same online reviews you did, so perhaps my subconscious was influenced and I was more careful when I wore my sweaters? I can't say I'm surprised by the pilling though. My theory sweater (which I've worn about the same # of times as my Gap sweater) was already showing heavy pilling around the wrist/arm area. I was so sad! The sweater was much more $$$ too. I've resigned myself to the fact that the inevitable pilling is just a result of wearing sweaters. I was at Old Navy the other day and saw a "sweater shaver", so I'll be using that to trim off the pilling.
DeleteLove the outfits you put together! Question about the Zara pumps: do you wear them for extended periods of times? Are they comfortable to walk around in or are they pretty much only tolerable for short stints? I love the way they look but walk around NYC all the time, so not sure about practicality purposes. Rock on!
ReplyDeleteHey Linna! The Zara pumps are actually quite comfortable given their 4" height. I've only worn them for short periods of time though (live in a car-centric area, work at a desk job) so I can't comment on comfort for an extended period of time. I probably wouldn't recommend wearing them around NYC streets often because the satin upper is more fragile than leather. I hope you're able to get your hands on a pair to see if they'll work for ya!
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
