Sparkles on My Wrist, Bows on My Toes

I feel ridiculously proud of myself whenever I manage to come up with a cool post title, be it a great pun, rhyming, or catchy phrase. I've already used bows on my toes in another post, but it's also appropriate for today's outfit that I figured it's worth recycling... with a spin. What other elements of this outfit could I turn into a phrase? Fur on my chest came to mind but that just evoked a rather gross image (sorry! had to share because my immature self is still laughing about this one). I settled for sparkles on my wrist -- not a pun, no rhyme, but safe. I give myself an A for effort, but C for execution.

  1. Finding a fun post title not always an easy task indeed. Especially when you post a few times a week! I think you did well on this one too ^^ It's kind of catchy!

Love the outfit, especially the shoes. They're super cute! xo

    1. I have a confession to make. Whenever I think of come across a catchy title, I'll write it down... so I'm not literally sitting at my computer for hours trying to come up with a title before hitting "publish" ;)

  2. Unlike you, I always have problems coming up with a post title. I love your bright yellow shoes. Are they new? Very Valentino-esque =)

    1. Haha here I was thinking they're Olivia Palermo-esque -- didn't think Valentino but I should have :) Yes the shoes are new! I was hoping they would make it to the Zara sale in a few weeks, but once sizes started selling out, I couldn't put it off any longer, haha. If you're interested, I went up half a size and they're surprisingly comfortable given the almost 4" heel height. Definitely check their site for popbacks!

    1. I cheat and keep a list of post titles, hahaha. I'm such a nerd but it beats waiting for that perfect title to find its way to the front of my brain when I need it to :)

  5. Hi Cee, I love this outfit. What size of fur vest that you are wearing? I'm 5'1"- what size do you think that would fit me?

    1. Hey Trini! I'm wearing sz L in the fur vest. I have a photo of the vest in a different print from when I bought mine comparing the fit of L vs XL. Sz L fits me snugly when zipped, so I usually leave it unzipped. If you're a lot smaller than me, sz M might be a better fit. Otherwise it's all about where you prefer the length to hit you. I love Zara and their free shipping and returns, so definitely give a few sizes a try if you can! Hope that helps and let me know if you have other questions!

  6. OMG "fur on my chest" would have definitely conjured up awkward and disturbing images. And ah, post naming, my least favorite part of blogging.
