Point Out
Tuesday, November 05, 2013How long is too long to be standing around waiting for the wind to die down? I was the oddball twiddling my thumbs (aka pretending to fiddle with the camera) for... half a minute before I finally gave up. There was no wind stoppage, so the whole time I was just hoping the camera doesn't topple over. I'd take a few steps, pause, turn my head back, think to myself whew, camera is still standing, scurries over to pose, click, click, click, then rush back to hold the camera steady. My heart could only take so much. So, the best photo I'm sharing today is the one with the least amount of hair in my face.

Love the neutrals in today's outfit. And are those Rockstuds comfy?
ReplyDeleteYES, they are the.most.comfortable heels ever. No exaggeration. It probably helps that the heels are only ~1.5". Everyone who owns this pair of shoes agrees with me :)
Deletelove the cardigan! i bought a similar one from banana but without the piping.
ReplyDeleteThe non-piping version was the one that drew me into BR's open cardigan in the first place! Can't go wrong with a classic piece like that :)
DeleteHaha, the worries of a tripod-photographer. I am SO happy my boyfriend finally gave in and wanted to shoot my photos. My camera fell once and it was new back then. I freaked out! xo
ReplyDeleteYou and all the other lucky bloggers out there with photography-loving sig others! I honestly don't mind using the tripod because I feel like my photos turn out better than when I ask my husband to take over. I think it's because I can position the camera to look upwards... whereas he would take photos from the face down (I always forget to ask him to please crouch, haha). It's only on windy days do I wish he had more interest in photography. Alas, those days don't happen too often. Knock on wood.
DeleteAww you still look great! And yeah, I had the same issue with winds over the weekend which caused me to give up on taking photos. My husband was claiming he was too cold and so was I. lol So back inside we went. :P
ReplyDeleteLove those shoes with the white skinnies!

Haha are we wusses or what?! Just kidding. If I had a nice spot in my home, I'd move my outfit photos indoors in a heartbeat... but my house is just a mess. I shall just have to suck it up come winter :)
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
