  1. oooo can't wait to see this dress sans a jacket...from what I can see your tailor did a great job!

p.s. really loving your marigold Zara bow pumps and may get a pair myself :)

    1. Oh Elle, I already have regrets about taking this dress to the tailors. Now I feel like I should've just left the dress as is and worn them on my "fat" days of the month. The dress would've fit the same on my normal days now. Sigh.

If you need any enabling re the shoes, I certainly love my pair :) Between my two usual sizes, I took the larger otherwise toebox felt tight. What sold me (aside from the color) was that they're actually quite comfortable for almost-4" heels. Ok, spiel over!

  2. I love this dress (would also love to see it "sans jacket")! From what I've been seeing on the ZARA website it look quiet slouchy and comfortable! Love the shoes too, but I could never pull them off. I call them "strappy sandal pumps; they kill my feet! Ugh. Great outfit though! :)

    1. Sans jacket might have to wait until next year -- it's a bit too cold now ;) But you can get an idea of how it looks on Elle. Hers is as is straight from Zara, while I had mine slimmed just a tad (not sure if that's the correct decision on my part). It looks like all sizes are still available on the Zara website, so if you could hold out for Black Friday, the dress could potentially go on sale!

    2. Oops, forgot to mention the shoes. Don't let the strappy sandals part fool ya, these are seriously the most comfortable heels I own. No joke. They're 1.5-2" in height so pretty manageable, imo.

I'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
