A recent purchase of mine from said store is the scarf worn in today's outfit. I first fell in love with SPG's "Chinese porcelain" DIY skirt, which featured an intricate blue floral design. I wanted something in a similar pattern and color scheme, but didn't have my heart set on a particular type of clothing item. After passing on a Zara scarf, I decided to give F21's a try. The pattern reminded me more of Indian Henna tattoos than flowers, but the color scheme was right. Buying scarves from fast fashion type stores is usually a tossup for me because the material used is often stiff and itchy. Luckily, this one isn't the case (100% viscose).

More stripes! :p Very pretty scarf pattern. Also liking SPG's skirt pattern.

Hi! Is there a reason why you haven't bought a Prada Saffiano lux tote bag? I think we have a similar style so I'm wondering if there was a reason you haven't written about it!
ReplyDeleteHey Vanessa! It's just a personal preference. I used to own a tote bag but realized I didn't like how structured it was in a larger shape... too bulky. I gravitate towards structured bags in a smaller size (like Chanel flap) or bigger bags in softer leather (like Balenciaga City). I also work in a casual work environment, but if I ever switch jobs to a more formal work setting, I might give tote bags like the Prada a try.
DeleteWhat a lovely scarf. You styled it so well with the dress. I feel that similar-color is the best method to mix and match.

I got the same scarf...! It suits you really well and looks great with stripes (a combination I would never have thought to try!)
ReplyDeletedefinitely a beautiful scarf!
ReplyDeleteOoh I love that scarf print! For some reason, I thought the "waverly" was in reference to the home decor fabric designer but now see it's the name of the scarf. DUH!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out :)
No I think you're right, S. I googled "waverly" and I saw hits for home decor... so perhaps F21 just took the name because the design is similar?
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
