    1. Hey, I hadn't planned on doing a review, but can write up a quick one for you now. I think the jacket is expensive for what it is. The material is canvas-y cotton, so kinda stiff and wrinkles easily. Also, the front pockets aren't real. What I do love... the color is a gorgeous sage-green, the swing style, and the attention to detail (ie: that flap under my left shoulder). The quality is nice... no loose threads, buttons sewn tight, etc. I'll try to take pics from other angles the next time, but you can check out Everlane's site for more photos. I'm wearing a size XS for reference (let me know if you'd like measurements). Hope that helps!

    2. Thanks for the reply Cee! What?! No real pockets - that's really disappointing for the price...it's really strange as the image on the website looks like the model has hands in the pocket :/

    3. CRAP! I just went to look at the jacket again and the front pockets are REAL. I don't know what's wrong with my memory... I swear I tried sticking my hands in them and encountered no opening. So sorry for the wrong info before.

  3. Hi Cee love the trench! What size are you wearing?

    1. Hey! I'm wearing a sz XS in the jacket. It fits comfortable and loose but that's the intended look. If you'd like a more fitted look, I'd say size down.

  4. Can you give a measurement of the sleeve length? Does the trench keep you warm?

    1. Sure, the sleeve length is ~24" from the shoulder seam to the ends. It's a lightweight jacket (lined through the sleeves, but unlined in the torso) so it'll work in the spring or fall, but definitely nothing heavy. I'd compare it to a denim jacket in warmth. Hope that helps!

  6. Hi! I found your blog while searching for reviews of this trench. If you happen to see this... could you comment on how the Everlane trench compares to the classic Burberry trench? I'm looking at purchasing the Everlane in the tan color, but would really love a Burberry trench someday. In your opinion, is it better to just hold out for the Burberry, or would it make sense to own both?

    1. Hey! Which Burberry trench are you interested in? I own the Marystow in the trench color, which is a longer length jacket and a light khaki color. I find it easy to wear this trench with dressy and casual outfits. I feel the Everlane trench is different enough from my Burberry because the silhouette is that of a swing style and the length is shorter. There is also no belt with the Everlane trench. I do think this jacket is better suited for casual outfits only. If I had to pick only one out of the two, I'd save up for the Burberry just because I feel it's more versatile. If you like the swing trench style, perhaps consider buying the Everlane in a different color and save up for the Burberry in khaki? Hope that helps!

  7. Thanks for much for your response, really appreciated! I'd probably go for something in the same silhouette as the Marystow. Glad to hear that you think the two styles are somewhat distinct.
