Yellow/Blue
Monday, August 05, 2013Today's outfit may look new, but it's really made up of old pieces worn in ways that have already been seen on the blog. Scarf knotted at ends, unbuttoned chambray shirt, and lace dress with casual sandals. For a puzzle nerd like me, mixing and matching various items and methods is like putting together combos in Tetris -- there are so many ways to build it, but the challenge and pay off are worth the effort.
scarf: Forever 21 Waverly print (sold here)
shirt: Gap chambray tailored shirt (similar)
dress: LOFT flounce hem lace dress (similar)
rings: H&M (recent); Forever 21 (similar)

You and me both! ;)
DeleteVery pretty! Loved Tetris growing up. :) You are giving me ideas for teaching outfits...I might be able to use thinner strapped dresses (dress code rule of three inches or more) if I layer them with a chambray. Woo-hoo! Thanks for the inspiration. :)
ReplyDeleteAnytime, Michelle :) You're not a fan of Tetris any longer? I was never a great player but really enjoyed the challenge. I was surprisingly pretty good at Puzzle Fighter, a Tetris game on Play Station (I think?) that involved Street Fighter characters, lol.
Deletevery pretty outfit!
