A Dress. A Shirtdress
Monday, April 22, 2013After wearing pants practically all winter long, I'm embracing going bare-legged in anything feminine. A shopping spree as of late that includes an eyelet skirt, a casual lace dress, a pleated paperbag skirt, and now I can add a shirtdress to my wardrobe. Spring, I heart you.

I love shirt dresses! This one is gorgeous, that deep color of blue is so great. Cute sandals too!
ReplyDeleteI love that this outfit is made up of affordable choices! Nice!
ReplyDeleteI'll be the first to admit that more disposable income = easier to buy more expensive things. I certainly wouldn't be offended if you remind me to wear inexpensive items (whether new or old) more often :)
Deletegah, why are you guys getting warm weather over there? send it this way! i wanna wear skirts and dresses, too!
ReplyDeleteI jinxed it! Temps are only in the high 50s today. Brrrr

I heart spring too. I also heart those sandals that you have been wearing...I have been contemplating a LOFT purchase since seeing your sale alert but annoyance at making returns (inevitable) is holding me back from checking out. sigh.
ReplyDeleteBecause I'm nice, I'll give you advanced warning that these sandals will show up often in the next few posts. So don't check my blog if you can't stay away!
DeleteReally though, these sandals are so versatile, and a great dupe for less for the Sam Edelman Gigi. I also find them to fit our medium-to-wide feet better than the Gigi's. Plus, I've figured out that if I keep the buckle in the last hole (loosest), I can push the strap down to take off the shoes w/o undoing the buckle!! Similar for putting the shoes on. And I don't experience any issues with the strap sliding off when walking. Have I sold you on them yet? :)
This is such a chic look, and I agree - love going bare-legged when I can!
