Transition
Tuesday, April 16, 2013Spring means I can finally dust off the cobwebs from my linen pants. They're the only white pants I own, so until I find the perfect pair of white jeans, these will be on constant repeat.

OMG, Cee! What a coincident. I am wearing my linen white pants today too. I love them but linen's wrinkles drive me nut.
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone. I'm embracing the wrinkliness because the pants are so comfortable. Ok, who am I kidding, I walk around like a wrinkle mess regardless of what I wear, lol.
DeleteSuch a perfect transition look! I love that cute jacket.

I love the white linen pants on you! I am always afraid to wear white pants and on top linen.. I guess in my head it's hard to clean? But I love the look of them!

Linen pants are machine washable, so don't be afraid! Though if you're not a fan of wrinkles, they probably aren't for you.
DeleteGreat outfit! I like the casual, laid-back, springy vibe, and your white pants look great on you. It is snowing here today, so I am very jealous of your flip-flops. I'm so done with winter!
ReplyDeleteI was also on the hunt for white jeans recently and ended up going with the 7FAM Slim Illusion Skinny. They are really comfy and the fabric blend seems to stretch out less than the standard denim. Maybe they will work for you, too!
Thanks for the suggestion, Tam! I'm off to google your pair. Aside from fit, all the white jeans I've tried on tend to be on the stiff side. I don't know if it's because I'm looking in the under-$50 range or if that's just how white denim is made. Drives me crazy though!
DeleteI'm 0/4 now on finding white skinnies. Gap's sexy bootcuts were perfect for a flared white pair for summer wedges, but I've got j crew factory skinny ankle jeans on the way to try. I'm starting to think that white + skinny are not meant to be!
ReplyDelete0-for-3 for me, so I'm not far behind. Gave ON Rockstars two chances, ON Divas a chance, as well as LOFT white jeans. None worked out and I'm bummed. Please, please let me know how the J.Crew Factory skinnies work out for you! We will not give up.
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
