Blue in J.Crew
Thursday, January 31, 2013Most of my purchases in the past two months has been from J.Crew. Their sales have been so... hard... to... resist. Armed with a gift card from Christmas, I lasted maybe... a month before spending it all. Try as I might, it's kinda hard not to be excited about wearing all new items at once, even if I do look like a walking J.Crew mannequin. I'm sure all the time I spent browsing the sale section and perusing the catalog has me mentally drawing heavy inspiration (if not ripping off exact styling) from photos I've seen. The closest sources I could find are plaid + bow tie and plaid + skirt.

Such a cute outfit! Love love love the bow tie and the shoes!
ReplyDeleteLove this whole outfit! I have been sporting a lot of J.Crew lately, too. The sales have been amazing =).
ReplyDeleteThis outfit looks stunning on you. The circle skirt looks shorter on you than on the jcrew website. I like the shorter length a lot better. Those tights are a great find! No kidding about J.Crew's sale recently. I'm weaning...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not sure how to explain the shorter length. I went up a size because I wanted the skirt to sit lower on the waist. I think the skirt definitely poofs out a lot more on me than on the model... somehow there just seems to be a lot more extra fabric, so that probably helps with the illusion of length.
DeleteI love this skirt! The pleats on it are just perfect. And girl, you do NOT look like a walking j.crew mannequin. A few other bloggers though? I just want to tell them that there are other stores in the mall other than J.Crew!
ReplyDeleteIf you pore over the catalogs like I do, then you'd think so! Lol. Maybe not normally, but at least with this outfit ;)
DeleteAmazing skirt! I found the same on this site Originalluxury I'm so happy!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
