Color Crush
Tuesday, November 06, 2012I had planned on leaving home in just this green top with fuchsia pants... until I started feeling a little bit self-conscious. I added an extra navy blazer for its dark neutral color (which helps tone down the overall brightness), and because the blue matches the stripes on the tee. Then did I feel more like myself.
Happy Election Day, voters!

LOVE this look. The navy blazer was a great choice. I have Ann Taylor pants in a similar color and I'm going to have to try a bright green top with it soon!

Cee, you left the house like that?? LOL. I'm about to pull out my parka that I don't usually pull out for another few weeks! This is the coldest birthday week I can ever remember!
ReplyDeleteHAHA noooo, these photos are from a week or two ago. Though I wore the same blazer today with a turtleneck and a button-up. But then I had to go home and add my ski jacket before going back out to stand in the cold to vote.
DeleteI love the colour combination on you :-)

ReplyDeleteI can't remember if your feet are small or tiny. Can you wear size 4? This pair is right up your alley! Only downside is sz 4 is currently sold out... but it may come back in stock if you check back frequently.

Great use of complimentary colors! The blazer ties in the colors very nicely. I bet you were the best dressed voter in line (assuming that you voted).
