The Fine Print
Tuesday, February 11, 2014I've found that accessorizing for cold weather outfits is a bit easier than their warm weather counterparts. Once temperatures dropped, I've hardly reached for my ever-growing jewelry stash because nobody would see them once I'm all bundled up. Instead, I pick and pair from my less extensive scarf collection and three pairs of gloves. My grouchy self sure appreciates the less is more decision making process in the mornings.
sunglasses: Walmart aviator (similar)

coat: J.Crew Majesty peacoat (sold here)

Love chambray with white. It's my go-to look when I'm late in the morning!

Me too, me too. Any button-up shirt really, but I do seem to reach for the chambray more so than others!
DeleteSuper cute! My biggest thing is wearing clothes that work with all of the snow we keep getting. When there's 6" or more of snow on the ground with more falling my choices seem limited to what'll survive the walk to the office from the car (which involves crossing a 3-lane major road in downtown Indy) and keep me warm while still office appropriate.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, don't mind my trivial complaints :) Not only do you have to wear tall boots/commuting shoes, but also worry about being splashed by slush from moving cars! I feel for ya. Hopefully spring is right around the corner.
DeleteI love how much blue you wear. Such a pretty scarf!
ReplyDeleteThe secret's out... blue is my favorite color. I can't count the number of times I have to force myself to branch out and not always buy everything I see in blue :)
DeletePerfect as always, Cee :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
