Layered in Neutrals
Thursday, February 13, 2014Today's outfit is from a few days ago, where conditions outside were much dryer. I woke up this morning to about 6-8" 4-6" of snow outside. DC is kind of a wuss when it comes to snow... half an inch on the ground and the federal government is delayed by 2 hours. I blame it on all the transplants who don't know how to drive in winter weather ;) I'm just happy that the government announced office closures at a reasonable hour last night so I could sleep in this morning. As for my plans for today? Watch more Olympics perhaps? "Help" my husband shovel the sidewalk? Stay safe and warm, east coasters!

Love the layered look, and the coat is to die for. :)
ReplyDeleteStay warm and be safe, Cee.
Yay! Have a fun snow day. :) We experienced snow coverage in Portland last Thursday through the weekend. Jon's office closed down early and kept the employees home on Friday...very nice! We did not dare drive the car...as we are those transplants that have no experience driving in the snow. :p
ReplyDeleteHaha! I was kidding about the transplants... kinda ;) I'll admit that I don't drive well in the snow either, so I know better and stay indoors. Snow days are a win-lose scenario for me. It's nice to get a day off, but I either have to make up the time or use PTO. It sounds like Jon's company treats their employees well, so I'm glad to hear your first snow experience in Portland is a happy one!
DeleteI'm in love with your coat! And your layering is beautiful as usual :)
