I bought this pair of electric blue tights a few years back when I was going through a rather colorful phase. Even now, I'm still surprised to see that I own something so bold. Bright tights are a statement piece, one that's already pushed me to my adventurous limit, so I kept the rest of the outfit as neutral as possible. One could argue dark colors just make the blue tights stand out more; I say neutrals make the outfit more wearable.

  1. I had a pair of red tights that I wore all of one time because I couldn't figure out what to do with them and because they were So. Bold.

I like that you're going out of your comfort zone and experimenting with new styles - I wish I could be one of those gals that could incorporate patterned and colored tights seamlessly into my wardrobe like another accessory!

    1. Surprisingly I found a red turtleneck to be relatively easy to pair, but I could also control the amount of red color showing through layers. Don't give up on your tights!

    1. Fake it till you make it, right? ;) When I took these photos, there was a guy walking his dog back and forth, and back and forth right in front of my camera. I'm sure he gave my bright blue tights the side eye, hahaha.
