Tweed / Snakeskin
Monday, July 28, 2014The newest installment (previously: reds, yellow/black) in this accessorizing-the-tweed-dress series features blues and neutral snakeskin. I was originally going for a cool color palette, but the gold hardware on my bag couldn't be helped. Aside from that minor blip, I'm glad for the reminder that I need to dust off older pieces more often and stop being continuously enamored with new items.

You look stunning in this dress! :)
ReplyDeleteI normally find tweed to be very thick and heavy for summer. How do you usually keep yourself cool while wearing it?

Thank you, Julia! The fabric of the dress is actually really lightweight, so summery-tweed... if there is such a thing? haha. I wish I had a trick to staying cool b/c I'd be shouting that from the rooftops! The short sleeves and back vent help with air circulation, lol. Otherwise I just suck it up if I have to spend a lot of time outdoors.
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
