Wine Me
Thursday, October 18, 2012Over the summer, I wore these bright pink pants with a pink top that's several shades lighter. I used the same concept for today's outfit, pairing light with dark while staying in the same general color family. I swapped out summer accessories for neutrals in brown and leopard (fast becoming one of my go-to favorites for fall).

Love! The colors remind me of the j crew dot scarf I totally missed out on...
ReplyDeleteLove this!! I'm obsessing over anything burgundy these days... never thought to pair it with pink! :)
ReplyDeleteSo, as mentioned, this reminded me of the Cabernet/pink dot scarf I was too slow to order, so I called around the Southern J Crews, and found them in stock at the Jacksonville St. John store for $19.99 + 30% off if anyone else remembers it and wants one. Thanks for the outfit reminder! ;)
ReplyDeleteThank YOU for sharing the find! I can't say I remember this particular scarf (have too many in my closet I need to re-wear already, lol), but I'm glad to have helped you trigger an old memory :)
DeleteLove this! I never would have thought to pair burgundy with hot pink. I love it. And will definitely be trying this with my hot pink skirt! :)

huhhhh! somehow i can see your blog today!
ReplyDeleteI remember you saying that my blog wasn't loading properly, but then I could've sworn you said it was working again later on. So I never bothered to investigate the issue. Then I saw the comment you left SPG the other day. Enough is enough! Darn work computers and forcing us to use IE. I finally bit the bullet and switched my photo hosting from Picasa to Flickr. Glad to see everything is showing up.
Deleteloving this color combination. Those pants didn't look so well on me but love them on you! =D
