A Little Leather & Leopard (+ up to 55% off at LOFT)
Thursday, March 26, 2015Sale alert: Take 40% off (almost everything) at LOFT (no code needed) + extra 25% off $100+ with code INSIDER357. Total savings would be for either 40% off or 55% off.
Picks (55% off listed first, 40% off listed second in parenthesis):
- Poplin Crop Illusion Dress - $40.28 (or $53.70) - Love the yellow color. Wanted to compare against the AT printed tie-front dress that I'm also eyeing ($89 w/code DRESSFORIT).
- Floral Lace Dress - $53.10 (or $70.80) - I own the version from a few years ago, so am happy to see an old favorite brought back for the second (I think?) year in a row.
- Floral Lace Pencil Skirt - $35.78 (or $47.70) - The skirt version of the dress above. I'm intrigued and wondering if the length is longer on the skirt (fingers crossed).
- Relaxed Skinny Jeans in White - $31.28 (or $41.70) - Would love for this to work out when I need a break from my skintight pair.
Towards the end of my trip abroad, I started to tire of wearing the same ol' outfits day after day. Once I came home, I couldn't wait to wear everything else in my closet, albeit still casually. It took me two weeks, but I finally felt the itch to wear "work" clothes again. Today's outfit isn't new and exciting (muted color palette, favorite trousers), but it felt new to me.

Nice outfit and I love the neutral palette. Although the wide-legged Express editor pants have never been my favorite as they seem to be wrinkly all the time (maybe they have linen in them?) and the fabric seems thin and more suited for hot summer months only. I tend to go with the jcrew lightweight wool more.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya on the Editor pants. What keeps me going back is that they're machine washable (and the wrinkles fall right out afterwards!) I also find them more comfortable than J.Crew wool pants... perhaps because they're thin? If I ever find that holy grail pair of work pants - completely wrinkle-free, medium-weight, machine washable, and comfortable, I'll happily share. Hell, I'll shout it to the world, lol.
