Snow.
Wednesday, January 28, 2015No, we didn't even come close to getting white out conditions from the blizzard. I'd say... 2" of snow at most judging from these photos taken the morning after. The roads were clean and perfectly drivable. Darn it, I was hoping for day(s) off. To my friends up north -- stay warm and safe!

I am loving the grey scarf and those rain boots!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elizabeth!
DeleteCute snowy day outfit! That would be more than enough snow to keep most at home in Dallas.
ReplyDeleteCount me as another with the Dallas-mindset! I really hate driving in the snow, for my sanity (and safety) as well as for others'. The only positive thing about winter is how pretty fresh snow looks.
DeleteHahah we got maybe that much snow on Monday but by "blizzard" Tuesday we did not even get that. The roads and sidewalks were not white at all!
ReplyDeleteSo I'm not the only one disappointed by the puny snowfall ;) We're expecting up to 5" on Mon so I'm crossing my fingers for that!
DeleteBeautiful place! Where in DMV is this? I was out of town earlier this week so when I got back home all I saw was the dirty snow thats half melting....
ReplyDeletePhotos were taken at Fort Belvoir. People without proper IDs will have a hard time getting in, but the stretch along GW Parkway has similar gorgeous views!
DeleteI'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
