Pinned
Monday, August 01, 2016I purchased this brooch months ago (snow-still-on-the-ground months ago). Looking back, it's obvious that I should've sent it back right away. After admiring the pretty design, I cringed at the hole that would no doubt appear from pinning the brooch onto an unsuspecting shirt of my choosing. Not wanting to subject any delicate materials to such a fate, the brooch became lost among a sea of pretty trinkets by my bedside. That is, until I finally had that ah ha! moment when I realized that denim is a material sturdy enough to withstand the weight of a brooch.
