Blazer Weather

Tuesday, November 03, 2015

I bought a couple blazers over the summer during end-of-the-season sales. The savings were great but having to wait until the weather cooperated tried my patience. So to the back of my closet they go. Out of sight, out of mind. Now that fall is legitimately in full swing, I'm fully embracing blazer season! I still plan on going bare-legged for as long as I can, but certainly am having fun playing with layers again.

  1. I love the new office looks, sounds like business casual attire is working out well! You're way braver than me though - I've been in pants since the weather dipped below 70. And recently, the snugglier the pants, the more likely they will be worn (this really means sweatpants).

    1. Believe me, if I had the option to work from home, I'd be in sweatpants no matter the weather ;)

Dealing with a dress code isn't as as much restricting as I originally thought, so I'm actually having fun dressing for work! It's funny because I seriously I feel like I rotate between a group of shoes and 2-3 bags for work, but yet my coworkers all have it in their heads that I have this amazing collection, lol.

    2. I'm glad actually! Funny how sometimes rules can help you get a bit more creative (maybe it's because putting on jeans - or in my case: sweatpants - can be so easy that it becomes a go to!)

And you mix and match the bags and shoes so well! Your collection is very nice (actually, I think in this industry owning ore than two pairs of shoes is like AMAZING).

There's actually a funny story of the day I walked into the office wearing AT ponte pants with a white tshirt, blazer, and scarf and a few people made comments about me being so dressed up... When the reality was I was basically wearing lounge clothes with a blazer to hide that fact in my strict office environment. It's always the most random things that people note!

    3. I think it's the scarf that always throw people off ;) They just give off that chic vibe... which us lazy Americans can probably thank the Europeans for, haha.
