Weekend Go-To
Friday, November 30, 2018This has been my go-to weekend outfit for the last 8 consecutive weeks (no lie, DH can attest to this). It's perfect for all the times we go out to eat at restaurants where the grease just embeds into your pores. I'm looking at you, Vietnamese pho (edit: phodor!), Chinese beef stew, Korean soondubu -- all of which I love too much to give up, so instead fashion is sacrificed in the process. I used to wear a holey sweatshirt (literally multiple holes at almost every seam) and baggy jeans, so this sportier outfit is a slight upgrade. It's so easy to just toss every item into the wash and not have to think about dry cleaning.

I love that you post real-life, honest outfits, C - grease spots and all!
ReplyDeleteDo I see snow in the background of you photos? Here in the UK it feels like its been raining non-stop for the past few weeks, but I'd rather put up with soggy than snowy!
Thank you, Helen! Real life isn't all glamour and rainbows, so I do try to keep it real here on the blog, albeit with (hopefully) pretty pictures :)
DeleteYes, that is indeed snow in the background! We got a couple inches about two weeks ago and were completely unprepared. Thankfully roads were only bad for about a day. Here's hoping that we both can experience better weather soon!
I'd love to hear from you. Constructive criticisms welcome!
