Today's outfit is a hodgepodge of styles. A mix of boho (top), glam (bag), feminine (shoes), and vintage (skirt). I could've passed for someone who got dressed in the dark this morning. Or perhaps seen as a risk taker. Or maybe a bit of both.

The last time I wore this exact outfit, I accessorized with all neutrals in the beige/tan/brown family. This time around, I went a little riskier and chose pastels. Give me a few more weeks and I may go off the deep end and re-appear with neons.

Today's outfit got varying degrees of comments, ranging from "Ooh, I love your shoes!" (via girls) to "Is that... fur?" (from guys). The latter of which I laughingly responded with, "Not at all. Want to touch?" A couple took me up on my offer, lol. I think this skirt is the equivalent of a coffee table conversation piece at the workplace.

It's one thing to knowingly wear men's clothing, but quite another to do so by accident. I had no clue that the yellow or light pink baseball cap I was considering were from the men's section. Nor when I first put it on and had to adjust the sizing to the smallest band. It's only right when I'm putting this post together did I do a double take.

When I buy new items, I tend to wear the hell out of them. So after awhile, it's easy to feel like I've worn all the combinations. When this happens, sometimes you just need to be patient until inspiration strikes. Today's pink and blue look is such an example -- inspired by none other than the always fashionable Victoria Beckham.
